Carbon for Water examines the contamination of water in one part of Kenya. Most of the drinking water here is contaminated. Women and girls are responsible for finding water and often miss school or work, and even encounter sexual violence. Yet waterborne illness remains a daily and life-threatening reality for them and their families. This film introduces audiences to the inspiring people who face these hardships, and explores one company’s innovative solution for improving the health of Kenyans and the environment they live in.
