Lori Pettlon of Support Kindness, could you please introduce yourself?

Lori:  Until recently, I worked at an amazing entertainment technology company that I loved but as incredible as it was, I still didn’t feel fulfilled. I know this may sound grandiose, but I want to change the world. So I started Support Kindness to create a community where beautiful people and acts are celebrated and recognized.

Please introduce Support Kindness. What are you doing? Who is Support Kindness? What is your current project?

Lori: The project was conceived after watching this video where a handful of dedicated people were toiling in relative obscurity and with little money to keep an animal sanctuary open. It’s incredible how many wonderful people exist who want to do their part to help change their communities and humanity as a whole. So our project involves traveling around the country to highlight the good things they do and hopefully help raise some much needed funds for their causes. We have just finished shooting our first group of folks for our documentary and/or series of documentaries, so stay tuned!

Why do you support BolderLife Festival?

Lori: As noted above, our mission is to shine a light on people, causes and events that are undermanned, underfunded and many times under publicized, yet still manage to have a positive impact on society. The BolderLife Festival completely and wonderfully meets our criteria, so we are honored to be a sponsor.

Our vision is believing that freedom, love, dignity, grace, presence and purpose are experienced through fearlessness and non-judgement of all moments of living, leading to more courageous and fulfilled lives for every person on this planet. Ultimately, we seek to celebrate and inspire solutions that promote a more conscious approach to living, whether on a personal, community, or global level, inspiring everyone to live a Bolder Life.

How do you think about this vision? What do BolderLife Festival and Support Kindness have in common?

Lori:  It’s a fantastic vision and in its own way helps to Support Kindness. When people feel more empowered, passionate and inspired, they change the world for the better.

What do you personally think about how to live a bolder life?

Lori: To be unafraid to follow your dreams and be who you are. And most importantly to be kind along the way.
