Be creative and you will be bold
“Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way.” said Edward de Bono. And that is what we do at BolderLife. We seek to celebrate and inspire creative solutions that promote a more conscious approach to living, whether on a personal, community, or global level, inspiring everyone to live a Bolder Life.
One of our wonderful sponsors and supporters is our amazing graphic designer JR. He created the logo and he gives BolderLife a recognisable brand. He helps to bring our big Vision to world.
We are curious what JR thinks about BolderLife and how his creative head is working.
BolderLife Festival: JR, would you please introduce yourself?
JR:Hi, my name is Joseph Rosa, most of friends my colleges refer to me as JR. I live in NY with my partner of 25 years and blessed with an amazing dog named Frankie.
BolderLife Festival: Please introduce your company The JR Factor. What are you doing? Who is The JR Factor? And what are your current projects?
JR: TheJRFactor is a boutique creative and brand marketing agency. We specialize in offering Big-agency results for small business looking for local and national exposure. I began by career working for top-tier advertising agencies as an account manager, but for the past 10 years, TheJRFacor has given me the opportunity to develop original creative design concepts, artwork and strategies for a host of clients. For example, I just launched a healthy line of bakery goods called Perfectly Luscious. Muffins and other baked good with less or no sugar, gluten free, lactose free, high fiber, and high in protein. We will begin distributing locally but will expand distribution as the company grows.
Our mission at BolderLife is to explore adversity and diversity through film, theatre, education, art, and conversation.
BolderLife Festival: Why do you support BolderLife Festival?
JR: It has been my mission to support organizations and groups that believe in the same principles I believe in and can bring about positive change. As someone who works in a creative environment, positive changes can be inspirited through all artistic expressions.
BolderLife Festival: How did you create BolderLife logo? What do you think is the heart/the statement of BolderLife in your view?
JR: I wanted the logo to relate to the festival’s mantra “Exploring Life/Inspiring Change Through The Arts and Education” by placing the camera on top of a mountain, at its highest peak, represented to me exploring everything the world offers with no obstacles in your path. The camera is also a great symbol of “documenting what you see and playing back for others to learn and experience”.
I believe if you are living a BolderLife, than you are living the best you can be. But to live a BolderLife, you must support others live the best they can be.
We believe in a world nurtures freedom and love and one that holds space for the whole spectrum of human experience. We believe in the power of standing and facing the truth with integrity, no matter how that truth manifests itself in tenderness, love, rage, or despair. We believe in building a world-wide community that practices inclusion, has difficult and courageous conversations, and embraces the beauty of diversity.
BolderLife Festival: How do you think about our vision? What have BolderLife Festival and in The JR Factor in common?
JR: I believe we all should explore life embracing the differences as opposed to just what’s in common. What I have in common with BolderLife Festival I’m open to the new possibilities life has to offer.
BolderLife Festival: Do you live a bolder life? What do you personally think how to live a bolder life?
JR: I strive to live a bolder life, not sure if I’m there yet! For me this is a balance of work and pleasure. Your personal well-being must be in order, then you can reach out and help others around you.
Thank you, JR!
