The mission of BolderLife is to explore adversity and diversity through film, theater, education, art, and dance.

Art is a unique and natural way to explore all shapes of life. Thats why we are happy to present the BolderLife fine art gallery that will be open in the Henderson’s Lounge throughout the duration of the festival. We have gathered a group of local artists who inspire with their set of beliefs, their work ethics, design skills, stylistic approaches and interest in offering positive inspiring images.

We are proud to introduce BolderLife’s curator Eric Batliner, a Denver native graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder  with a double emphasis BFA in oil painting and sculpture and a minor in Japanese. He has shown his artwork and other creative endevours throughout the Denver area.

BolderLife Festival: BolderLife Festival is heading at its 3rd year. How did you get involved to BolderLife? And why did you decide to be a part of this festival?
Eric:   A friend of mine, Escher, was already involved with Bolder life and contacted me when they realized they wanted art in the entryways.

BolderLife Festival: You are the curator for the art gallery at BolderLife Festival. Where will we meet you? What can people expect?
Eric:  I will attend the festival most of Friday and Saturday.    They can expect delightfully crafted stylish meditative art.

BolderLife Festival: What does art mean to you?
Eric:   Thats clearly a loaded question…. I might choose to duck.  In fairness though, I witness forms of art in all aspects of life.  To me it takes some form of exploration, practice, and willingness to put something out there for all.

BolderLife Festival: What do you think about in BolderLife’s new mission/vision statement?
Eric: I felt myself stand straighter as I read these inspired words.  I felt called to connect, to add my voice and thoughts and be heard by those willing to do the same.  I think it is amazing.

BolderLife Festival: What would you say to the world: Why should people come to the festival?
Eric:   Bolder Life Festival offers unique glimpses into the world we live in.  To humanities struggles, dilemmas and the actions we take to overcome adversity.  We can explore ourselves as we witness others take on the challenges they face.  We can celebrate with them, cheer as they succeed, and find our joy and exuberance to face our challenges.

BolderLife Festival: Do you live a BolderLife? What do you personally think how to live a bolder life?
Eric: To live a bolder life is to not listen to the little voice that tells you you can’t and shouldn’t.  That being said I try to exist in a simple format.  If I think it…. I should do it.  So don’t be surprised if I cartwheel my way into the theaters.
